How do I book?
Please navigate to our Contact Page and submit your inquiry. Once we receive your request, we will setup an initial phone call with you and see how we can best fulfill your needs! We will then set you up with one of our amazing chefs, depending on the specific style and nature of your event.
How does the payment process work?
With our Chef Collective, we will write you up a menu proposal with a set rate for your event, depending on your group size and meal specifications. We require you to pay half of the total fee in order to secure your date and the second half on the day of your event.
Is there a cancellation period?
Yes! You have up to 2 weeks before your event to receive a full refund. Anything after 2 weeks will be dealt with on a case by case basis, understanding that we are living in complicated times with unforeseen plan changes. We get it!
what does it cost?
Depending on the scale, size and nature of your event, the cost typically ranges from $125-$175 per person or an hourly rate ($65-$120) + groceries for meal delivery services. Please inquire for a quote catered directly to your needs.
What if my group size changes before the event?
We base our pricing off of the number of guests at your event. If your group changes in size, it may have a change in your set “per-person” pricing. If the change in number occurs 48hrs (or less) in advance, we may have already purchased groceries, so changes in price cannot be made.
What time does the chef arrive beforehand?
We arrive around 2 hours ahead of your meal to set up and get ready. We do most of the prep work ahead of time, so we do not make a giant mess in your kitchen.
Do we need an extra staff member?
We highly recommend an extra staff member on-site for groups of 10 or more, in order to help with the needs of your group, dishwashing, wine pouring, etc. It makes the evening flow better and lets the chef focus on the flavors and cuisine!
Do you offer chef services outside of Santa Barbara?
We specialize in the Santa Barbara County and surrounding areas. Please feel free to reach out anytime with a specific location request.
